Hank – We hung out with our son and daughter-in-law for a couple of days. Oh, and we can’t forget to mention Mouse, their cat.

The newlyweds are doing great. Mouse is doing great, too. Kathy does a good job of telling the story below. I’m very proud of Josh and Amanda. They’re great young people.

Josh introduced us to a couple of games. One is Kingdomino. The other is Coup. They’re very different from each other and they’re both fun. So we’re picking up those two in the near future.

Kathy – It was so awesome to see Josh and Amanda! We love spending time with these amazing (adult) children. Josh and Amanda met while attending the University of Washington in Seattle. They have been together for 7.5 years and got married last November. Josh works for a geotechnical firm in Bellevue and Amanda works at the Poly Clinic in Seattle. They are both pretty awesome people that we are extremely proud of.

We got out for a walk, but mainly our time was just spent visiting with them and catching up. We had delicious home cooked meals which is a treat for us after eating out so much during the past 13 months. We played games, watched movies and really just enjoyed our downtime with them. We also played with Mouse a lot. I am not a huge cat fan, but my “grandcat” is different. 😊She’s special and fun to play with. I really like her. 🐈

Our time with Josh and Amanda went by much too fast. We look forward to seeing them again next weekend before we head back to Spokane. Now it’s time to ride in Alaska – state 49!
