Hank – We returned to Barb and Keith’s house in Maine on Wednesday. After much discussion and connecting with their friends and family we’ve decided we would all go to Boston on Saturday, staying with Keith’s friend Bill, and sight see together through Monday. On Tuesday, they return home and Kathy and I will be back on the bikes. Yesterday we visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The views from Cadillac Mountain were beautiful. We didn’t have time to do the hike up the north side of the mountain so we scrabbled over the rocky top for a while. Thunder Hole was pretty cool even though it was a mellow day wave-wise. The onrush of water was just enough to demonstrate the effect. I’m sure it’s very impressive when the big water comes in. In the mean time, my bike is at Rose Bicycle shop in Orono getting new cables and a stem riser installed. The raised handlebars, along with the strengthening exercises, which have been extremely helpful, should help my shoulders out for the rest of our adventure.

It sounds very positive! May all go well with you both when you resume your ride. That was a good idea to raise the handlebars. I hope it, along with your exercises, does it for you. Blessings and continued prayers!
